Computerization of today and Talibazation of tomorrow?

Computerization:

Our world is moving from pre-modernization to modernity and reaching towards post-modernization values. It is very obvious that the 21st century – the age of technology and modernization - have given us new hopes, outlooks and directions. Advances in high sophisticated technology, combined with free-market ideology, have given goods and services an unparalleled mobility. This is a unique opportunity for the younger generation to take this golden opportunity to fulfill and achieve their goals and dreams.

Mankind is trying to explore other planets - they want to explore the secrets of the heavens and earth.   It is indicated very clearly that the world is moving swiftly to discover newfound glories.  This is all about developed countries that are enjoying democracy, social justice, freedom of speech, media on and so on. But come to my ill-fated country (Afghanistan) and see hell on earth!

Talibization:

As mentioned earlier, our world is steadily moving toward advancement and betterment. But when Afghanistan seems to be constantly and persistently moving in the opposite direction! For more details you can read the history or ask chief (Khan) of Qabela (godfather of tribe).

I was watching the news on BBC, when a particular item caught my attention—the proposal to create a Department for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice.  At first, it did not surprise me at all, but when I heard the rest of the news I found it extremely disappointing and sad.  Our people have been waiting with a great deal of hope since the collapse of Taliban to see their country become a prosperous, democratic, civilized nation, especially for its new generation. But unfortunately, our president—with his tribal perception—is trying to create an out-dated, ill-religious police system for promoting a system which is called "Amer Bal Mahrof Nah az Monker." This failed system was already promoted and implemented once in Afghanistan by the savage and barbaric regime of Taliban.    And not surprisingly, it was unsuccessful and the result was dissatisfactory.  So, how can they expect it to work today?

There are a series of questions I would like to ask our fake president Karzai Khan: "Where is your promise to our new generation that you will bring democratic process? Where is the social justice system? Where is the professional police enforcement? What is the difference between your mentality and Mullah Sahib Omar? How much longer do you want our people to suffer?   How much longer will they be slaves of your close ally Pakistan? What happened to your other numerous promises?" Creating a religious regime and a Taliban style police force is a crime against our country! It is a complete destruction of the democratic process and the future of the young generation.   How can he not realize this?

Grave concern of Independent Human Rights Commission (AIHRC)

The Independent Human Rights Commission states: "an Afghan government decision to recreate the notorious Department for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice has raised grave concerns among human rights groups. The government announced plans last week to re-establish the vice and virtues department, but said it would not return to the hard-line ruling enforced by the Taliban. Until the Taliban's five-year rule was ended by the US-led coalition in late 2001, the virtue and vice ministry enforced numerous restrictions. Men were instructed to grow beards and women were forced to wear all-covering burqas, while girls' schools, television and gambling were banned. Even kite-flying was considered a crime. Those who had violated the rules faced imprisonment and public beating s."{1}

The New York based Human Rights Watch (HRW) had earlier raised serious concerns about the return of the vice and virtue department and called on the international community to make a clear commitment to Afghanistan's long-term security and reconstruction, and to avoid a return to repressive past practices.

"Reinstatement of this controversial department risks moving the discussion away from the vital security and human rights problems now engulfing the country," said Zama Coursen-Neff, a senior HRW researcher.

"Re-installment of the Department of Vice and Virtue with no clear terms of reference yet is a matter of concern for us," Ahmad Nader Nadery, spokesman of the Afghan Independent Human Rights Commission (AIHRC), told IRIN in Kabul. "A similar department under the Taliban regime was a tool to interfere in the privacy of life of every individual to suppress the citizens and to limit all rights and freedoms of people," he said.

According to the Ministry of Pilgrimage and Religious Affairs, the new department will mainly focus on alcohol, drugs, crime and corruption. Meanwhile, many Afghanistani's organizations expressed their anger and concerns about new Taliban-esque police forces. They are completely against this fruitless project!

I am surprised that this government seems to be playing dirty games with the Afghanistani people. The government is deceiving the citizens with their wrong and unclear policies. Creating a religious police for prevention of corruption, drugs, crime, alcohol and prostitutions? This is virtually an irrational and unacceptable statement! It is absolutely baseless, meaningless, and an entirely wrong notion! We must, as a civilized nation, move forward not backward!

Afghanistan a failed state:

Failed states can no longer perform basic functions such as education, security, or governance, usually due to fractious violence or extreme poverty. Within this power vacuum, people fall victim to competing factions and crime, and sometimes the United Nations or neighbouring states intervene to prevent a humanitarian disaster. However, states fail not only because of internal factors. Foreign governments can also knowingly destabilize a state by fuelling ethnic warfare or supporting rebel forces, causing it to collapse. {2}

Look at the weakness and misery of this regime. Mullah Mohammad Omar is the biggest blood-sucking criminal on the face of the earth. He is responsible for the innumerable murdered, tortured, Diaspora Tajak, Hazara, and Uzbek civilians during his fascist regime! How is it that Karzai can request him to join the current government?  Is this not a dirty game? Is this not a crime?  Is this not a failed and corrupt government?

President Hamid Karzai invited Taliban leader Mullah Mohammed Omar to contact his government to seek reconciliation, but he has said that he does not expect the fugitive to come out of hiding. "We would like all the Afghans, Taliban or non-Taliban, whoever they are, if they want to come back to their country, to participate in the life of this country, it's their home, they're welcome," Karzai said in an exclusive interview with The Associated Press. Asked if his offer included Omar, Karzai said, "If he wants to come, he should get in touch with us."{3}

This of course indicates a failed state.  Although Karzai strongly believes that the Taliban are the blood-suckers of Afghanistan who have the intentions of ruining the country with the aid of terrorism and Al-Qaida—despite this belief, Karzai's tribal government still begs Taliban for their participation and collaboration.   How can the enemies of civilization contribute and participate in a functioning community?  There is no logic behind it.

The Washington Post states: "WASHINGTON (AP) — despite large-scale U.S. support, Iraq and Afghanistan rank among the world's 10 most vulnerable states, according to a private survey being released Tuesday. According to the review, the situation in Iraq (No. 4) and Afghanistan (No. 10) deteriorated since 2005, the first year the survey was taken n."{4}

 'Airlines terror plot' In UK.

A plot to blow up planes in flight from the UK to the US and commit "mass murder on an unimaginable scale" has been disrupted, Scotland Yard has said. It is thought the plan was to detonate explosive devices smuggled in hand luggage on to as many as 10 aircraft. Police are searching premises after 21 people were arrested. Home Secretary John Reid said they believed the "main players" were accounted for. All the blood shedders were British Pakistani origins. {5}

As I read in these English news papers :Daily Express, Daily Mail, Daily Mirror ,Daily Star ,Daily Telegraph ,Financial ,Times ,Guardian, Independent,, Morning Star Sun ,Times ,Washington Post, Fox, Sky, Al-Jaziera as well as on internets about the plot to blow up planes in UK .As the British government bombarding the Pakistani government based Al-Qeda location for such as “mass murder on an unimaginable scale”, Pakistan already announced it’s support to FBI and M15 .But amazingly the official Pakistani government linked this atrocity and plot to Afghanistan Al-Qaida based. It shows clearly to public opinion around the world that Pakistan has not have any terrorists. All who are terrorizing are from Afghanistan.

As the news states ….In Pakistan, officials said they had detained a “key person” in the case, adding they had arrested five Pakistanis and two Britons in the case, including British national Rashid Rauf. He was arrested about a week ago and described as a “key person” with ties to al-Qaida in Afghanistan-Pakistan border. {6}

“We arrested him in the (Afghanistan-Pakistan) border area and on his disclosure, we shared the information with British authorities, which led to further arrests in Britain,” Interior Minister Aftab Khan Sherpao said. {7}

Additionally, another newspaper from SLAMABAD, Pakistan –states...” Lashkar fighters in the past were trained in camps in Afghanistan and have joined terror attacks sanctioned by al-Qaida, including the December 2003 bombings targeting Musharraf, that he escaped unhurt but killed 17 others”.{8}

Another Pakistani news agency states…The ministry named Rauf in a statement late Friday, saying he was a "key person" and adding that there were "indications of Afghanistan-based Al-Qaeda connection" to his case.{9}

I want honestly ask my president Karzi Khan or foreign affairs .Why you are not responding frankly and loudly to the world population  and Interior Minster Aftab Khan Sherpao that our country is being suffered from these blood suckers creatures. Afghanistan is no longer manufacturing terrorist .It is Pakistan which has a high qualification in terrorist activities. Why our country is living in silence??

Conclusion:

As far as we understand, Mr. Karzia's government (tribal state) did not perform a great job in the past five years, despite billions of dollars in international aid from the international community.   Just where, when, how and to whom was all that money spent?  Afghanistan and its people need answer. Obviously, Afghanistan is completely a failed state!  Instead of bringing about improvement, social justice, law and order, peace and prosperity to our people, the government is adding another misery – Promotion of Vice and Prevention of Virtue.
